Program Tuition
Hudson Lab Ventures is a two-week, in-person innovation program where high school students work on real challenges with global companies and top universities. Tuition reflects the full experience: expert facilitation, close supervision, and access to Lisbon’s innovation ecosystem. Students traveling to Portugal to attend Hudson Lab Ventures programs pay standard international tuition:
Lisbon 2-Week Residential Advanced Program: €2500 or $3000
Lisbon 1-Week Residential Introductory Program: €1500 or $1800
We intentionally keep cohorts small to ensure meaningful mentorship, feedback, and supervision. Program dates, daily hours, and cohort size are listed on the program pages for the 2-week program and 1-week program. Students living in Portugal should directly enroll with our local partner Unicorn Factory Lisboa.

Lisbon Residential Program
The Lisbon Residential Program offers students an extraordinary opportunity to live and work in Portugal while collaborating on a real innovation challenge with a Portuguese company. For students traveling from outside the region, this is not just a change of scenery. It is a chance to experience Lisbon as a place where people work, build, and create, rather than as a tourist destination.
Residential students live together, forming a close-knit Hudson Lab Ventures community while engaging daily with the city around them. Students move through Seoul together navigating new areas while balancing independence with clear structure and staff support. The experience is immersive, energizing, and deeply memorable.
Evenings provide time to unwind and reflect after full days of work. Some nights include group dinners or supervised outings, while others are fun nights in together in the residence. Throughout the program, routines, expectations, and supervision remain consistent. The result is an experience that feels exciting and expansive for students, and thoughtfully designed and reassuring for families.
Supervision & Student Support
Student safety and wellbeing are central to program design. Students follow a clear daily rhythm that balances focused work time, collaboration, and supervised movement throughout the city.
Hudson Lab Ventures staff are present daily during all program hours
Students know exactly who to go to with questions or concerns
Clear expectations are established for participation, behavior, and communication

Understand how ideas move from concept to action in the real world
This program may not be the best fit for students looking for:
A traditional classroom or lecture-based experience
Guaranteed outcomes or competitive rankings
A purely recreational or tourism-focused program

Hudson Lab Ventures offers limited need-based financial aid to ensure that motivated students can participate regardless of financial background.
Aid is awarded based on demonstrated need
Applications are reviewed holistically
